Lake michigan college welding program

The Welding Production Technology program prepares students for employment in the construction, manufacturing and utilities industries. The program provides instruction in the most common manual welding and cutting processes. Cutting is done both manually and mechanized with plasma and oxy-fuel systems. Training is geared to provide the skill base, knowledge and professional attitude required to eventually become a highly skilled welder.

Upon completion of the listed Welding Production Technology certificate requirements, you will be eligible for a Certificate of Achievement. This allows you to enter the job market with basic, entry-level skills. Credit earned can be applied toward your associate degree.
