Ruger 1022 serial numbers

Well, then they reached you would think they would have went to an prefix, but somebody at the Ruger factory erred and skipped , numbers by going to an prefix. Now that they have completed the prefix up to , they've went back to Fun ain't it?? Now lets see if Ruger's website keeps up with that for their dates of manufacture page.

Yes, I thought I mentioned in that thread that there was no serial number, and in fact, Ruger hasn't assigned any Ruger firearm a 9xx- prefix serial number as of yet. They are probably getting the "D" portion of it out of the way right now though, because who knows how many years or decades it will be before some firearm model does get numbered Don't remember if I reported here on the forum or not, but after Ruger finished out their prefixes in the 82x-xxxxx block the last number was , they decided to change things up a bit because they were fast running out of prefixes.
