Smart arse game instructions

The question card lists 10 clues. Player 1 begins to read the first clue. Any player can yell out an answer at any time and after any clue players do not need to wait for Player 1 to finish reading the clue.

However, each player gets only one try at answering each card. All players who provide incorrect answers are out of that round and cannot try and answer the question again.

Player 1 continues to read the clues until one of the players Player 2 answers the question correctly. Play passes to the left with the player to Player 1's left becoming the Reader.

Spaces on the game board: a Dumb Ass Space: This is a penalty space. In other words, any player landing on the Dumb Ass space sits out the next round. Note: If only two players are playing and one player lands on the "Dumb Ass" space, then the player gets a free roll of the die and moves forward on the board.

The game then continues. If a player lands on this space after rolling the die, then the Reader selects and reads a bonus question from the "Hard Ass" red category. Only the player who landed on the Hard Ass space can try and answer the question. The winner of that round then rolls the jumbo movement die, and moves their playing piece forward on the board the number of spaces indicated on the die.

Turns pass to the left. They must sit out until the round after the next. If it was that players turn to read the next card then that players turn to read that card is skipped, the turn passes to their left. If you are playing a 2 player game, then the other player wins a free movement roll. Only the player that landed on the hard ass square can answer, and if they are correct, then they may roll the jumbo movement die again and move their piece forward.

If the answer is correct, then that player wins the round. If no one answers the question correctly after the last clue is given, then the player who asked the question wins the round. The player who won the round can roll now the numbered die and moves his token according to the number rolled. At the end of each round, play moves clockwise with the next player asking the next question until the game has been won.

Sometimes, two players answer the questions at the same time. Then honesty by players is needed in determining who gets the correct answer out first and the decision is adjudicated by the person who asked the question.

Only the tied players may answer. The player that says the correct answer first then takes the first question card and places it in front of them. Name required. Email will not be published required.
