Blackberry bluetooth setup assistant
This is something that you might not be able to do on non-BlackBerry devices, where work data is often stored within a secure work data container. Simple tasks like checking your calendar, or booking meetings with work contacts may simply not work as expected.
The trusted security of BlackBerry 10 allows me to use the BlackBerry Assistant to stay seriously organized both at work and at home. Of course, you can ask BlackBerry Assistant about the weather, local restaurant suggestions, and other fun things. But at its core, BlackBerry Assistant is for productivity. This information is very important as it contains instructions on how to put your Bluetooth-enabled device into pairing mode. Pairing mode is what allows a Bluetooth-enabled device to accept a new connection from another Bluetooth-enabled device, such as your BlackBerry smartphone.
In order to pair two Bluetooth-enabled devices, one of them must be placed into pairing mode while the other device searches for it. Once the initial connection is made during the pairing process, you will be prompted to accept the connection between the two Bluetooth-enabled devices.
You then have the option to trust the connection, which will allow the two Bluetooth devices to communicate with one another without the need to accept the connection request each time. To find out how to put it into pairing mode, I reviewed the User Guide found at the BlackBerry Documentation website, and came across the following section which guides me through the pairing process with my BlackBerry smartphone from start to finish.
When you turn on the headset for the first time, the headset is in pairing mode. After completing the steps above, a message will appear confirming that my BlackBerry smartphone is now paired with my BlackBerry Wireless Headset HS! Loading page content. User profile for user: norton norton Jun 28, PM in response to cbincg In response to cbincg Weird one, this: I wanted to locate Bluetooth Setup Assistant to speed up the process of re-connecting my wireless mouse or keyboard when a connection is lost, as occasionally happens for whatever reason - my plan was to place an alias for it on the desktop and to add the assistant to the Dock, so that I could always open it straight away, whether it was the mouse or the keyboard that had lost a connection.
As hard as I tried, though, I could not locate the assistant. And I had already tried all the permutations I could think of to find this application in Find I eventually found the answer in this thread, so many thanks for that!
